Drawbar Trailer

A drawbar trailer is different from a regular semi trailer. The drawbar  trailer does not have a traction pin, but has a turntable and tow bar, which are connected to the locomotive through the turntable and tow bar. The drawbar trailer itself does not provide power and relies on other moving vehicles for traction. Because it can bear the load independently, the tractor only needs power and does not need to bear the load of the tractor.
