Understanding our production process can dispel a large part of your doubts. First, a drawing of the standard width of a 40 foot flatbed trailer is made according to your requirements. After confirming that the drawing is correct, it is handed over to the workshop for production. According to the requirements of each part of the drawing, we will use CNC cutting machine to cut each part, such as the main beam needs to use steel plate, steel bar, etc.
We will follow the sequence of welding working platform, side beam, main beam, main welding pin, welding suspension, welding base plate, rust removal, defrosting, spraying primer, painting, spraying wax, installing axle, installing tires of 40 foot flatbed trailer these steps.
You can choose mechanical suspension or air suspension.
Mechanical suspension: It adopts tandem balance structure, high strength, strong impact resistance, and distributes the axle load evenly to each axle. High-strength material has longer service life, effective cushioning, simple maintenance and easy replacement of wearing parts.
Air suspension: optional BPW and Fuwa combined with lift and steering axle for more shock proof.
How the 40 foot flatbed trailer is connected
1, in order to make the traction pin and traction seat connected smoothly, 40 foot flatbed trailer should first be in the no-load state.
2. Lift the outriggers, make the four axle flatbed semi trailer tractor pin seat plate lower than the center of the tractor tractor seat about 10-13mm. otherwise, sometimes not only can’t connect, but also damage the tractor seat, tractor pin and related parts.
3. pull the tractor hook release lever to open the traction lock mechanism.
4. Turn the tractor upside down, so that the 40 foot flatbed trailer traction pin is introduced into the opening of the locking mechanism through the V-shaped opening of the tractor seat, and the locking block is pushed to rotate to lock the traction pin.
5、With the air line connected, open the disconnect switch of the semi trailer on the tractor, so that the 40 foot flatbed trailer gets enough air pressure. Connect the wiring and plug the tractor wiring into the flatbed trailer wiring socket. Properly operate the lifting leg to retract, then pull down the crank and hook it to the hitch.
